My last day away from home I spent full-on wandering with my microphones. Sat at numerous cafes and parks. The above recording was from the steps of a grand church front. Got lots of stares and concerned looks at this public street, haha. I also had a lovely park bench conversation with a gal from Edinburgh. Hope she's doing alright out there in the world. I think I'll read At the Pond: Swimming at the Hampstead Ladies' Pond because of that conversation.
I also got 60% of the way toward migrating this website while sitting in this Library in Copenhagen. Of course, I was deep in code, so I just set up my mics and let them run, but it's lovely listening back and heading all the noises I happened to miss just because I was 'busy'.
