Anthrum is a piece for solo instrument, or solo instrument and solo dancer. The piece is based around the idea of using other audio as a source for new artworks, and thus works best performed as an overture, or in tandem with a collection of other pieces.

Originally performed as an overture for my graduation recital, Hoj Poj, the piece integrates acoustic performance with distorted and electrified noise through a collection of motion based sensors, Arduino, and Max/MSP.
