Another banger by Vic Basadre, Dies Irae touches on the experience of having an incredibly respectful and thoughtful therapist. The film was selected to screen as part of the CalArts Character Animation Producers’ Show.

Especially important to me was the ~30 seconds of ambience immediately after the main character leaves therapy. There is a beautiful moment of reflection, and some sonic reminders of life.
